A proven track record for over 56 years.

What originally started as a simple idea in the basement of John White Sr.'s  home grew quickly.  At one time WAW was located on the street corner of the Buffalo Creek Rd. and State Route 10 housed in an 8,000 square foot building that simply ran out of land.  In 1991 the company moved to its present location on State Route 10 at Mallory, WV.  Housed in a new 16,000 foot building WAW began to evolve into a major entity in the electric motor repair business.  Again in 2005 it was necessary to add even more work space. So with the completion of an additional 16,000 square feet we not only have tripled our work area but have also added the latest resources to produce quality motors.  We believe better than any one else!

An experienced work force with decades of experience.

Over this past decade our company has experienced phenomenal growth. We have grown from a small motor shop with a 25 man workforce to the present day with 65 seasoned craftsmen.   Experience is the "name of the game" at White Armature Works.  The average years of experience per key position is over 22 years, i.e. machinist, winders, purchasing, accounting, and management!  Several of our employees have been with WAW for well over 30 years.  With these resources we believe that we are more than capable of giving our customers a top quality motor and the very best service in our industry.

We're well equipped and stocked to meet your motor needs.

We offer rebuilding service on motors as small as fractional horsepower up to 1750 horsepower.   We own and use all the necessary equipment to perform such services as: dynamic balancing, vacuum pressure impregnation, core loss and dyno load testing.

White Armature Works was the very first "electric motor repair facility" to design and install a "Water-Brake Load Tester"
